Ways to Keep Your Nails Healthy

Take a close look at your fingernails. Are they strong and healthy looking? Or do you see ridges, dents, or areas of unusual color or shape? Many less than desirable nail conditions can be avoided through proper fingernail care.

To keep your fingernails looking their best:

Keep fingernails dry and clean.

SEAWEED SCRUB

Give your nails the much needed attention with this treatment, we use a Seaweed Scrub which is Organic, a delicate combination of natural ingredients to gently clean and smooth your skin, at the same time making it suppler.  Your skin will feel completely rejuvenated and refined.

ROSE with HIMALAYAN SALT SCRUB

Rose with Himalayan salts can be made into a body scrub which is extremely invigorating and refreshing to the skin.  It’s important to exfoliate the top layer of the skin to remove dry and dead skin cells and bring the fresh new skin to the surface, giving it a more youthful appearance.  The exfoliation process also helps remove impurities and toxins from the skin, un-blocks pores and reduces inflammation.

This Organic treatments is locally and exclusively made for Queens and its Queens exclusive treatment.

Nail Treatment

IBX NAIL TREATMENT

IBX Nail Treatment is a “penetrating, toughening agent that fuses together the nail’s top layers to improve nail plate integrity… used to keep your natural nails strong so that they grow long.”

As well as healing splits and peels, it also fills in grooves and adds a protective layer to your natural nail so it can grow out further without breaking, and shields it from further abuse, like gel polish removal. Pretty awesome, right? Turns out that the way it works is pretty nifty too!

Enjoy Polish

BIO SCULPUTE GEL

Bio gel is a Natural products. The gel manicure that doesn’t wreck your nails. It’s damage-free and stimulate nail growth. Unlike other nail finishes, Bio Sculpture Gel is a nail treatment applied as a coating to your own nails to strengthen and condition them with no damage.

Wearing nail polish isn't going to harm your healthy nails, although you probably should give your nails a break on the polish periodically. As part of your home manicures, make sure you choose acetone-free nail polish remover when you decide to begin that break. Wear gloves for better nail care when working with your hands, such as when you're gardening or housecleaning, to protect the polish and keep dirt out of your nails.

Moisturize Cuticles

DADI OIL

Think of your cuticles like the protective caulking around a bathtub. If you cut them back too far or push them around too aggressively, you damage them. That, in turn, leaves your nail bed open to infection. As part of regular nail care to maintain healthy nails use Dadi Oilwhich helps treat weak, brittle nails. Enhancing flexibility, preventing brittleness and a perfect skin moisturiser for dry hands, Dadi Oil is a 95% certified Organic treatment which absorbs quickly and penetrates deep into the skin and nail.

A note about manicures and pedicures

If you rely on manicures or pedicures for healthy looking nails, keep a few things in mind. Don't have your cuticles removed — it can lead to nail infection. Also, make sure your nail technician properly sterilizes all tools used during your procedure to prevent the spread of infection.

It's easy to neglect your nails — but taking some basic steps can keep your fingernails healthy and strong.
